The Thai postal system could be much  improved. If you need a stamp, the wait line could be long. There was a recent incident where a person at the Thai main Post Office had been pilfering letters for quite some time. If you need to receive a credit card or important document, you might want to consider alternatives.

Private domestic post office - These are all over Pattaya. They are great for buying stamps and can also send mail.

International mailing – UPS and other major mailing services are everywhere, such as Big C on 2nd Road

JUSMAG post office – Only retired military and Vets rated 100% disabled can receive and send mail through this secure USA postal system.. Check with the Post on costs and frequency of mail pick-up. JUSMAG is located in a secure American compound in Bangkok. Limit for packages is 1 pound.
