WELCOMES YOU !
The VFW is all about Veterans who answered their country's Call to Duty.We are active in helping veterans in need of assistance, their widows and children and various charities throughout Pattaya. Come pay us a visit, socialize and find out how to successfully live in Thailand as an expat. Our Post meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Guests are welcome. On all other Tuesdays, those of us that can, gather for a general chitchat.

September 2011

Our well planned project for the Jester's Fair, was unfortunately washed away by Sunday's floods.  Our helpers were trapped in the rising waters on Soi Batman and unable to get out.  The post was flooded, and my thanks to all the girls for getting it cleaned up for the meeting.  In spite of the rain, many thanks to all the people that contributed time and energy to the project, especially Roger and Som Knoor for making the chili, and Werner, Paul, Dave and all the wives and girls for carting all the stuff to and from the fair.  One bright spot, Tuesday's meeting attendees were rewarded with free hotdogs.

Another major event in the planning stages will be Veteran's Day, on November 11th, which will include our usual acknowledgement of our Veterans past and present.  We are looking forward to seeing you here.

The next District 5 Meeting is scheduled for Chiang Mai on November 19th.
